Rafting
on Coruh (Daily) |
|
|
|
Join one of our expeditions on the Coruh
River which is a world class white-water river. An unforgettable
experience for those in search of adventure. For adrenalin
addicts, the highest water levels are in May and early
June; after mid-June water levels start to drop so this
is the time to come if you are looking for a more relaxing
trip. The rapids increase in difficulty day by day,
up to grade 5 in May and June, grade 4 thereafter.
The Coruh flows through spectacular canyons and narrow,
fertile valleys of orchards and tiny paddy fields, past
ancient ruined castles, all set against a backdrop of
magnificent rugged mountains. The area is virtually
untouched by tourism giving us a rare opportunity to
experience the beautiful natural landscape and the traditional
life of the incredibly friendly and hospitable local
villagers.
For most of the trip we camp wild by the riverside,
living the outdoor life to the full. |
